?

Memories are bittersweet. The present is worth cherishing. The future is bright.
There is no future nor the past without the present. Likewise, there will be no present without the past and the future.
In the real life, how many of us can really see this? All of us look forward to when we grow up, work, live the life. But without whatever efforts poured in now, all those dreams wlould never come true. Why hold pessimistic views? If life is just going to go on, might as well do it positively and do your best. There is always cause and effect. In life, there will be no regrets if we try our best isn't it?

><

I watched a litre of tears today. Well, i skipped alot of episodes, but i watched Ep 1,2,3,4,5,part of 6, 7,last part of the show. Its really touching. Its about this girl called Aya. She has this disease called Spinocerebellar Degeneration (SCD). Its actually the wasting of the cerebrum. The cerebrum is part of our central brain, and controls our movement, speech and a lot of things. She got the illness at about 14-15. She struggled with the illness for about 10 years. During this time, her condition worsened and in the end, she had difficulty talking, moving and many more.-->basically, bedridden. The drama is based on the diary she wrote since she was 14, when her illness first came to light. Its really touching. Even though she knew that her illness was incurable, she did not give up even at the very end. She died when she was 25. 1963-1988 In her diary, she wrote many inspirational quotes that she used to encourage herself. Try it and you'll probably cry a litre of tears.

Quotes?

One must not be too sure of his/herself, or else he/she would fall hard when they fail.

In life, there will always be ups and downs. But like the stocks, they will rise once again if they fall.

If it is not something you have witnessed, do not assume the personality or character of another or an event.

If you feel that there is a flaw in someone's character, tell and advice him or her.

Always look upon comments about your character. Try to change what you feel is true and bad about yourself.

O.o

Right. So just 1-2 hrs before, I recovered all of my lost Japan trip pictures and video. I thought I would probably get a shock or something, but all I felt was: Ok. So its back. --O.O I Never thought it would be like that. My stimulated expression or reaction to that was: O.M.G. Its back!(And I'll jump & laugh here) Its back!!!!--Right. I did say OMG, and er...i said it a lot of times, but still! My reaction was too mild. I guess its the seperation that dulled my feelings for the pics. Now that I connect it with friendships, it makes sense that after we left each other since Primary School, if we don't talk or communicate in any way, if we meet up on the streets one day, we will be like--Oh.Hi.You were my primary friend right?--): NO!!!!

Animal...

Right. Articles to share with everyone again. Animal testing--right or wrong?

I understand that animals are used to test for eg. Medicine, cosmetics and many other products. Well, the thing here is: Are human lives more important than animal lives? The thing that actually gives us the edge over other animals or beings on earth is our literacy and our brains. Our ability to think, and express our thoughts clearly through words. Of course, i wouldn't object if they do those tests HUMANELY.I mean, you give anastetics or something right? But as animals are considered as lesser beings and the fact that they can't express their objection like us, they are treated differently. I am fine by those HUMANE medical tests, but honestly, for cosmetics? Seriously. We are aware of what chemicals are sensitive to our eyes and stuff. So yeah. Many animal protestors protest because they feel that tests should be run on humans instead if WE are the ones using the products. My personal stand is that animals can be used in animal testing, but in a humane way. Certainly not for cosmetics as well. Well, yeah. I guess that's all....but honestly, its almost impossible to be humane enough. I mean animals can't protest or agree. Just hope they are unconciuos or something when its done.
